Âé¶¹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø police are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store in south Âé¶¹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø early Friday morning.

At about 5:34 a.m., an armed man walked into the 7-Eleven in the 2100 block of Crystal Spring Avenue, police said Tuesday.
The man approached the counter, pulled a handgun from his waistband and demanded cash. The employee complied, police said, and the suspect then fled.

He was described as a heavyset man between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10, wearing a black beanie, dark mask, reflective vest over a black jacket, a white shirt, black plants and black and white Nike sneakers.
The Âé¶¹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø Police Department released surveillance images of the suspect and requested that anyone with information about the case call them at 540-344-8500.
Not far from the 7-Eleven, an armed man robbed the Truist Bank branch on McClanahan Street on Aug. 13. There have been no arrests. Police said the two robberies are not believed to be connected.
