Our beautiful mother, Ruby Heptinstall Conner, 86, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at her home in Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø, Va., following a prolonged struggle with Alzheimer's Disease.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Daisy Heptinstall; her husband, Andrew Conner; and her brothers, Calvin and Doug Heptinstall.
Ruby is survived by her children, Deborah, Teresa and John Jr.; Andy's children, Wendy and Curtis; and countless friends.
She was born and raised in Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø, Va., graduating from Jefferson High School. Ruby was beloved by many, known for her infectious smile, sparkling personality and boundless energy. She loved antiques, working for many years in a local antique store.
The family will receive friends at Oakey's South Chapel on Brambleton Avenue in Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø, Va., from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025, followed by a celebration of life memorial at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Alzheimer's Association. Condolences may be shared with her family by visiting .
