MARIO CRISTOBAL ON THE PROGRAM: "We got here (after the 2021 season) and I remember watching film and seeing we've got a lot of work to do. Miami was on the verge (in the 2022 NFL Draft) of not having a player drafted for the first time in I don't know how many decades and then finally late in the seventh round a player was selected. So Miami did not have the talent (when Cristobal was hired), Miami had not recruited to the level that Miami's supposed to recruit. You fast forward three years later and now Miami's coming off a 10-win season."

QB AND GEORGIA TRANSFER CARSON BECK ON HOW HE HAS TRIED TO HELP HIS NEW TEAM: "(With) my experiences and maybe some of the games I've played in, the teams that I've been on, (I am) coming into Miami and trying to maybe instill some of those things, whether it's in a one-on-one with a guy and we're having a conversation or whether it's speaking up in front of the offense or speaking up in front of the team. Trying to teach those around me what I know and teach them through my experiences is something I bring to the table."

LB WESLEY BISSAINTHE ON THE DEFENSE UNDER NEW COORDINATOR COREY HETHERMAN: "This scheme is going to be very beneficial to us. We're attacking downhill. It's definitely way simpler, so less thinking. You're able to play fast. You see one thing and you're able to move, play off instincts. He wants all his players to have urgency. We're going to rally, hustle to the ball. The players are more confident in what they're doing. The defense is structured around athletes."
